What's Your Name

I was named after the movie actor William Boyd who played Hopalong Cassidy. A cowboy hero like Roy Rogers and Gene Autry in the 30’s and 40’s who was known for his goodness and fighting for the things he believed. In my own way I’ve lived up to the name. When my son was born, I remember my dad’s concerned questioning tone, “What did you name him?”, after I told him we’d named our first son Kaleb Micah. But after reminding him of the men named Caleb and Micah in the Bible I could feel his smile through the phone. What’s the story behind your name?
